Pinto Bean and Pork Soup Ala Ken

Ingredients
Pinto Beans - one poundPork Shoulder - one poundOnions - one cup choppedCelery - one half cup choppedBay leaf - 3 wholeGarlic - 3 cloves choppedCayenne pepperSalt - 1 TablespoonPepper - 1 TeaspoonWater - 4 cups
Directions
Soak beans for 24 hours and then boil for 2 - 3 to help soften.
Pork Shoulder should be sliced fairly thin, trimmed of all fat and seasoned as desired. Bake in the oven for 3 hrs at 250 degrees
Dice Onions, celery and garlic
Add all ingredients to a large pot and heat for one to two hours.
Serving size is approximately one cup.
