Chickpea and Potato Curry (one pot wonder)

* Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 3 cup * Red Potato, 2585 grams * Curry powder, 6 tbsp * Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia)
brown onions in a very large pot.
add water when done.
cut potatoes into slightly larger than bite size peices
and add to pot
put in cooked chickpeas.
add enough water to cover.
add curry powder
and any other spices you wish.
Cook for 4 or 5 hours on med-low heat.
