Sandra Lee - Black Bean burgers

Ingredients
1/2 medium onion1 tbsp garlic2 15 oz cans of black beans (drained and rinsed)1 large egg1/2 c bread crumbs1tbsp parsley1 tbsp cilantro1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions
Roughly chop onion and add to food processor. Add garlic and pulse to chop. Add 1/2 of the beans, egg, bread crumbs, parlsey, cilantro, and red pepper flakes. Pulse to combine. Dump food process contents into bowl and add remaining beans. Stir to combine. Form mixture into 4 nice size patties. You will end up with a little bit of mixture left to make a mini-patty. Grill or cook in pan on top of stove on low until desired doneness.

Makes 4.5 patties.
