Best Easy Vegan Cheese Sauce

Ingredients
2 cups water4 oz. pimentos ( 1 small jar, roasted red bell pepper can be subbed)1.5 tsp salt or to taste3 heaping Tbs. nutritional yeast flakes1/2 tsp onion powder1/4 tsp garlic powder1 Tbs. cornstarch1 Tbs. Arrowroot powder (or cornstarch or flour)1/3 cup raw cashews1 Tbs. lemon juice (I used a lime)A few shots of hot sauce (I like Louisiana)
Directions
Blend everything in a blender until smooth. Cook in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened, whisking or stirring frequently (somewhere between 5 and 10 mins)
