rice and red beans with smoked sausage

Ingredients
151 grams dried small red beans4 cups water2 tbsp dried minced onion1 packet Goya sazon seasoning1 chicken bouillon cube1 beef bouillon cube1 1/2 cup long grain white rice2 oz. smoked sausage, diced.
Directions
1. soak beans according to package directions, drain and rinse
2. combine beans, water, onion, sazon, and bouillon cubes.
3. bring to a low boil, cover and simmer for about 1 hour until beans are just tender.
4. add rice and sausage, bring back to a low boil, cover and simmer until rice is cooked and liquid has mostly absorbed.
5. let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
