Ingredients
6 medium potatoes (932g)1 1/2 cups (302g) cubed cooked ham1/2 cup (88g) old cheddar cheese grated2 cups milk1/4 cup copped onion (6g dehydrated onion)1/4 cup white unbleached flour1 tbsp dehydrated parsley flakes1 tsp black pepper or to taste
Directions
Wash and thinly slice potatoes with skin on (or peel if desired). Cube ham. Grate old cheddar cheese - use old to get the most flavour for the least fat/calories. Measure milk, add flour, onions, parsley, and pepper and whisk together. Layer 1/4 of the potatoes, ham, and cheddar, and pour 1/4 of re-whisked milk mixture over. Then repeat three more time until all ingredients are in the crock pot. Turn crock pot to low and let cook for 8 hours. Serve and enjoy!
Note that I did not include adding salt as there is plenty in the ham and cheese already!

I made this exactly as per the instructions and it was just not good - I thought it would make a thick sauce but the cheese separated making clumps - it was edible but just barely - I won't make this one again. - 11/23/11
