Detox Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
V8 Vegetable Juice, Low Sodium, 24 oz (remove)Vegetable Broth, 3 cup (remove)Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped (remove)Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped (remove)Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced (remove)Asparagus, fresh, 2 cup (remove)Cabbage, fresh, 6 cup, shredded (remove)diced tomatoes, w/ basil,garlic,&oregano; Great Value brand, 1.75 cup (remove)Carrots, raw, 1.5 cup, chopped (remove)Water, tap, 1 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)fresh garlic to your taste....I use a garlic pressfresh herbs to you liking...I used fresh thyme and rosemary
Directions
Using some olive oil spray, spray stockpot and saute onions and garlic until translucent. Then add all other vegetables, canned tomatoes, broth, V8 juice and water. Bring soup to a boil and then add lemon juice and your choice of frest herbs. Allow to simmer until vegetables are tender. Makes 14 - 1 cup servings
