Gruyere Grilled Cheese with Caramelized Onion

2 slices Ezekiel bread2 ounces gruyere cheese2 ounces caramelized onion1 tablespoon butter
Arrange the bread on a work surface. Top one of the slices with the onion and Gruyère and close the sandwiches.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and place bread in pan. Flip over the bread to coat the other side in butter. Cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, 10 minutes. Flip them halfway through. Cut in half and serve right away.
