Whole Wheat Banana Waffles

Ingredients
1 3/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour2 medium Bananas (mashed)1 tsp Honey1 1/2 cup Milk (1% or fat free)1 tsp Baking Powder1/2 tsp Salt
Directions
Mix all ingredients, and place 1/6th of the batter in each waffle well. We used a regular square waffle iron (approximately 4 inch waffles squared). Cook until steam stops coming out of the sides of the iron.

Serve with either berries or Sugar-Free Syrup. Makes 6 4-inch waffles.

    Not good at all. I realized there were no eggs to create any sort of rise, so I added two egg yolks and then beat the whites to form peaks and added them to the batter. I also added more honey and some vanilla because they were not at all sweet enough. After these fixes, they were great. - 11/9/10
