Red Beans & Rice with Smoked Sausage

Ingredients
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil1 medium onion, chopped4 ounce can green chillies, drained3/4 cup rice, uncooked1 cup water1 beef bouillon cube16 oz. can red kidney beans2 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese1 pound smoked sausage1 teaspoon Tabaso sauce or Cholula Hot Sauce (Cholula has less vinegar
Directions
In medium saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and chillies and saute for three minutes. Add rice and water and simmer covered for ten minutes or until rice is tender. Stir in beans, cheese, sausage and Tabasco.
