Real Spanish Rice

Ingredients
3 Tbsp of EVOO3 oz of ham1 oz of Spanish Chorizo (not the Mexican fresh kind) 3 Tbsp of Sofrito1 packets of Sazon1 tbsp of Tomato Paste1 15.5 oz Can of Goya Pink beans2 cups of rice (rinse it first)3 cups of water
Directions
Heat the EVOO in a large pot. Dice ham and Chorizo and add to oil. Cook for a few minutes. Add Sofrito, Sazon and Tomato paste. Cook for about a minute. Add the Pink beans. Then add the rice, cook for about 2 minutes and then add 3 cups of water. Cook on high unit water is evaporated. Fluff with fork and then create a pile in the center of pan of rice and turn flame to low and place a lid on top and let cook further for about 10 to 20 minutes. Gage on how you like your rice. I like mine a little on the wet side and not to dry so I did it for about 10 minutes. Fluff again and serve
