Fish Stew - slow cooker

2 cans low sodium tomato sauce1 can low sodium diced tomatoes1 onion cut into big chunks3 large stalks of celery cut into 1" pieces24 medium baby carrots3 medium potatoes chunked1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning1 tsp hot sauce (optional)2 cups Chicken Stock16 oz Cod filet cut into bit size pieces18 large shrimp butterflied
Place all of your vegetables, tomato products, seasoning, and chicken stock in large crockpot. Place on low and cook all day.
Ten minutes before you are ready to serve, add your fish and shrimp. Mix thoroughly, turn the heat off and let it sit with the lid on.
Makes six large servings.
This can also be made stove top, and will take approximately an hour to cook until all of the veggies are soft. Add your fish during the last five minutes with the heat turned off and the lid on. It will cook in the heat of the stew.
