Sweet Plantains

Ingredients
one ripe plantainone tbsp buttertwo tsp brown sugarcinnamon to taste
Directions
Melt butter in pan on med low, add sugar and cinnamon. Add in sliced plantain (cut into 17 peices). Cook on low for 10 min. on each side.
Serving Size = one piece/slice of plaintain

    This recipe is good but the serving size is way off. 17 people to one plantain? You can split 1 decent size plantain between 2 people for a reasonable serving size and that equates to about 160 cals/serving

    The directions say that one serving is equal to one slice of plaintain (if you cut into 17 peices).

    This was so yummy and reminded me of the plantains we had in Jamaica on our honeymoon. I cooked mine a little longer since that is how I like them!! - 5/5/11
