Chicken w/ bean sprouts

6 oz Chicken6 oz can water chestnuts1/4 of a large onion14 oz can bean sprouts1 tsp *Dried Thyme Leaves1 tsp Garlic Powder1 tsp Sage, ground1 tsp Salt1 tsp Pepper, black3 tsp Lea & Perrins Worchestershire Sauce2 tsp Paprika2 tbsp Molasses1 cup Water2 tsp Corn Starch
In skillet, lightly saute chicken and onion. Add spices and molasses and let heat through, adding white cooking wine for liquid if needed. Add water chestnuts and bean sprouts, let flavors blend for around 15 min on low heat. Just before ready to serve, blend water and corn starch and add to the chicken mixture. Stir constantly until thickened. Makes 4 1/2 cup servings.

You need Tbsp. of oil to saute the onions & chicken; I also used less molasses & slightly less salt/pepper, also fresh bean sprouts. 5 min. was plenty, then 5 min. after adding 1 tsp. cornstarch in 1/2 c. water. Flavor is definitely zippy! - 5/14/10

I used pan spray to saute the onions, which saved some calories. I like to slow heat through in order to blend the flavors better, but I'm sure that it was terrific the way you made it also. There can be a lot of variation to this recipe. I fixed the mistake for corn starch, Thanks!!
