guacamole with tomato

Ingredients
3 ripe avocadochopped onion (1 ring chopped usually enough)chopped tomato minced garlic to taste (i like 1 clove, others like more)lemon or lime juice to tastesalt & pepper & cilantro to taste
Directions
should serve 6-10 people if not the only dip on the table
mash avocados until desired smoothness
add chopped onion, tomato, garlic, lemon juice and salt/pepper, stir around, taste test and add more of whatever you think its lacking...you can't go wrong :)

    This recipe is a staple for me. I always use lime juice instead of lemon if I have it, and sometimes I put a dash of cayenne pepper in, too, otherwise, I make the recipe as written. It is so good I crave it, and have trouble believing I can eat stuff like this and still lose weight. - 2/7/10

    since posting this recipe i've played around with lemon, lime and cilantro and agree it is so good i crave it! adding cayenne is a great idea to add spice for those spicy dip lovers like my partner. thanks for your comment

    This sounds fantastic. I acquired 2 Avocado's and needed a use for them and since this is the only way I cans stand their taste, I know it's going to be a hit. II just hope it isn't too much of one that I have a problem rationing it! - 8/29/09
