Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
2 qts Water1/2 tsp Salt2 large carrots chopped2 stalks celery chopped1 small onion chopped1 Jalapeno chopped1/2 head of chopped cabbage1 lb browned Italian Sausage1 tsp garlic2 tsp basil1 T bacon grease1 can Italian stewed tomatoes
Directions
Brown sausage, onion, & garlic.
Put chopped vegetables and spices in water
Add browned sausage
Simmer 25 minutes
Makes 10 1-cup servings
