1 baked pie crust [under Pie Crust on this website]1/2 Cup Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa1 1/2 Cup Sugar1/3 Cup Cornstarch1/4 Teaspoon Salt3 Cups 2% Milk3 Tablespoons Butter1 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla ExtractMeringue [under Meringue on this website]
Combine dry ingredients into sifter. Sift into pot and stir. In a separate pot heat milk and gradually blend milk into dry ingredients. Stir until filling boils. Boil for 1 to 1.5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie crust. Press plastic wrap over chocolate to prevent filming. Put in refrigerator. Top with meringue just before serving and put in 350 oven for 2 to 3 minutes until peaks turn brown. Watch closely!
