Chicken Lettuce Wraps

1 lb ground chicken meat1/2 jalapeno pepper3 Tbsp Tamari (soy) sauce separated3 tsp chopped garlic1 Tbsp dried basil1 Tbsp hot sauce2 Tbsp lime juice1 Tbsp sesame oil2 Tbsp vegetable oil1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar2 cups chopped mushrooms3 green onions1 Tbsp butter2 Tbsp chopped water chestnuts
Combine chicken, pepper, 2 T tamari sauce, garlic, basil, hot sauce and lime juice in a large bowl, mix well. Let sit while you do the next step.
Brown chopped mushrooms and onions in butter in a skillet on med-high heat, once tender and browned remove from skillet and reserve for later.
Heat sesame and vegetable oil on med-high in the same skillet. When oil is hot but not smoking add the chicken meat mix. Cook until chicken is done. You may have to drain some juice off towards the end.
Once the chicken is done and juices drained (if needed) add the cooked mushrooms and onion as well as the chopped water chestnuts. Add vinegar and last 1 T tamari sauce, mix and serve.
Scoop meat into lettuce leaves, wrap and enjoy!
