Apricot Date Muffins

1 2/3 cup whole wheat flour1/2 cup agave nectar3 tsp. grated orange peel1 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp salt1 cup plain lowfat yogurt or buttermilk1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce1 tsp vanilla extract1 egg1 cup fresh apricots, pured 1 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp nutmeg1/2 cup chopped dates
Remove seeds from apricots and puree in blender. Combine all wet ingredients and mix well. Add dry ingredients and stir altogether. Spray muffin tin with non stick cooking spray. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 15 muffins.
