Pasta Salad with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella (1/2 cup servings)

Ingredients
8 oz Barilla or other Penne Pasta1 pint of cherry or grape tomatoes, washed and cut in half8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cubed6-8 large fresh basil leaves, finely sliced2 T finely minced red onion1 clove garlic, finely minced2 T balsamic vinegarsea salt to taste and freshly ground pepper
Directions
Boil water and cook pasta, al dente, if preferred.
Drain and rinse with cool water. While this is cooking, Wash and cut tomatoes, basil, onions, garlic, fresh mozzarella, and combine in serving dish. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add pasta when cooked, toss and add balsamic vinegar. Optional: top with a decorative swirling of balsamic glaze.
