Whole Wheat Baguettes

Ingredients
warm water 1 cupwhole wheat flour 3-3.5 cupssalt 1 tsp.olive oil 1 tsp.sugar 1 tsp.yeast 1 tbs.
Directions
Put sugar and water in a bowl. Add the yeast. Allow to rest for 5 minutes. Add the oil, salt and flour. Knead for 10 minutes. Let rise till double. Punch down, knead and shape into two baguettes. Let rise till double again. Brush with egg white or water and bake for 20 minutes in a 400 degree oven. Brush several times with water while baking. Makes 12 servings of 2 slices each.
