Pinto Beans and Green Chilies

Ingredients
Beans, pinto, 5 cup Green Chili Peppers, canned, 1 cupRed Ripe Tomatoes, 3 medium wholeliquid smoke, 5 tbsp Tone's Minced Onion (dehydrated), 4 servingGarlic, 10 cloves Ground Cumin 1 tbsp
Directions
Cook Pinto Beans according package directions. I use my crock pot and slow cook the beans over night. Remove liquid for beans, rinse and return back to crock pot.

Add can of green chilies, liquid included
Dice tomatoes and add to beans
Add spices, liquid smoke, tomato paste and 2 C. water.
Slow cook until done.

May be blended and used as a dip. As well as used in taco's for a meat substitute.

    I'm trying these beans today! I have my beans in the crock pot as we speak, I did make a few changes. I threw everything in while the beans cook, I added half homemade chicken stock and water, I also added cilantro and turkey kielbasa. - 4/8/13
