Italian Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients
2 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil1 cup diced onion2 (24 oz.) fully cooked beef pot roast (Hormel Beef au jus is a good choice)1 ½ cups tomato and basil pasta sauce1 cup mild banana pepper rings1 cup of Mancini peppers and onions2 tablespoons garlic powder1 tablespoon basil1 tablespoon oregano6 French Hamburger Buns
Directions
1. Preheat large saucepan on medium-high 2-3 mins. Place oil in pan; swirl to coat. Add onions and cook 4-5 mins., stirring occasionally, until onions begin to brown.

2. Stir in remaining ingredients (except buns), cover, and bring to a boil; reduce heat to medium. Cook 15-20 mins. until hot, stirring occasionally to break meat up.

3. Serve on hamburger buns. (Try reduced carb buns for extra carb savings.)
