2 cups tart green apples peeled, cored and diced.25 cup onion, diced1 garlic clove, minced.25 cup red bell pepper chopped.5 cup dried prunes, chopped1 cup vinegar.5 cup brown sugar1 tbsp ginger, grated1 tsp grond clove1 tbsp cinnamon1 bay leaf.25 tsp black peppercorns

To prepare the chutney, combine all the ingredients, bring to a boil, then let simmer until thickened. approximately one hour
