Breakfast cookies - chocolate almond

6 T softened butter6 T canola oil3/4 c brown sugar2 eggs2 T blackstrap molasses1/2 c 2% milk1 t almond extract1 c whole wheat flour1/4 c almond flour1/2 c wheat germ1/3 c ground flax2 c quick cooking oatmeal3/4 t baking soda1/2 t salt1/2 c craisins1/2 c sweetened coconut3/4 c mini semi-sweet chocolate chips1/2 c chopped walnuts1/2 c sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 350. In mixer, combine butter through milk. In a separate bowl whisk dry ingredients (wheat flour through salt). Fold wet and dry ingredients together. Fold in remaining nuts, craisins, chocolate chips, etc.
Put heaping tablespoons of batter onto a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. Moisten fingers with water and gently press flat into a cookie shape. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until firm.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.
