Easy Black Beans

Ingredients
1x15.5oz can black beans 1/2 large vidalia onion (or onion of choice)1/3 cup chicken brothspices to taste(no matter what, i always use garlic)
Directions
chop onions. i usually leave mine large, but chop to size preference.

add onions to a small saucepan and heat through until almost clear. if using garlic, add at this stage.

add black beans (and juice) and chicken broth.

add spices to taste.
i usually use black pepper and whatever else is on hand

simmer until desired consistancy. i usually simmer for at least 45 minutes because i like them mushy.

serve with brown rice.

makes 4 servings at 1/3 cup per serving. (not including rice)
