Teriyaki Chicken and Rice

Ingredients
Ingredients:Onions, raw, 1 cup, sliced (remove)Chicken Breast, no skin, 1 unit (yield from 1 lb ready-to-cook (remove)Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 1 cup (remove)Brown Sugar, .5 cup, unpacked (remove)Teriyaki Sauce (1 tbsp), 4 packet (remove)Olive Oil, 2 tbsp (remove)
Directions
Heat oil, Brown sliced Onions in oil, Cut chicken into cubes, add chicken to browned onions and brown the chicken over medium high heat. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, a pinch of curry powder and ginger.. when browned to nice color, add chicken or beef broth (whichever you have on hand). Add a dash of cooking sherry. Add 4 to 5 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and 1/2 cup brown sugar. I use Wondra to thicken the sauce a bit.
Serve over rice (or baked potatoes)
