Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 lb. Chicken breasts-(cut into 1" cubes)
    1-2 tbsp sesame oil
    1/4 tsp ground ginger
    1/4 tsp onion powder
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    2 tbsp sesame seeds
    2 tbsp soy sauce

Directions

1) Use sesame oil to coat wok or nonstick pan
2) Add chicken and cook over low heat until almost cooked through
3) Mix ginger, onion powder,garlic powder, and sesame seeds into a small bowl.
4) Sprinkle over chcken and saute over medium heat.
5) Turn heat to high and add soy sauce, sauting until fully incorporated and chicken is slightly seared.
6) Serve immediately.

    I made this yesterday as a "cook-ahead" meal for the week. It is wonderful!! I did not use the sesame seeds because I did not want my mother who has diverticulosis to have sesame seeds. So, I added a tablespoon of Sesame Tahini to intensify flavor and 3 chopped scallions to intensify color. - 1/19/09

    This was excellent. I added about 1 Tblsp of honey at the end and it gave it a nice sweetness. Served over brown basmati rice - good flavors. Will try frying and tossing in the leftovers tomorrow. - 6/6/09
