Sloppy Jo Sauce

Ingredients
1 pound 93 % ground beef1 can (14.5 oz) petite diced tomatoes1/2 cup ketchup2 T brown sugar1 cup chopped yellow onion1/2 cup chopped celery2 garlic cloves, chopped1 T chili powder1/2 t salt
Directions
1 - Combine, in medium bowl, tomatoes, ketchup, and brown sugar. Sir to dissolve sugar. Set aside.
2 - In a large skillet, combine ground beef with remaining ingredients.
3 - Cook over medium heat, crumbling beef, until done.
4 - Stir in tomato mixture.
5 - Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally for 15 -20 minutes.
6 - Serve on hamburger buns or over hot pasta.
