Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe

1 bunch of celery4 large carrots1 large head of cabbage2 onions4 green bell pepeprs2 packages of mushroms1 64oz bottle of V8 juice (I used V8 VLITE)2 packages of Lipton soup mix (I used the garlic & herb)2 tbsp jalepeno powdergarlic, salt and pepper to taste
Chop all ingredients...coat the bottom of a crock pot with cooking spray and add all veggies...dump the 64 oz of V8 into the pot and then fill the bottle with water and dump that in as well! Finish off with the seasonings! I divvied it up into 9 pint containers and froze them!

i haven't trid this yet but would like to. How long do you cook this recipe on the stove top. I assume is doesn't have to be in a slow cooker. I have never head of jalepeno powder. Would wasabi powder work?

Sure!! I would just cook it until the cabbage is soft (2 hours?)...I only added the jalepeno powder to make it spicy, its not necessary! Wasabi powder would probably work
