Ingredients
1/2 cup water1 onion, chopped1 bell pepper, diced1 carrot, sliced1 stalk celery, sliced2 cups mushrooms, sliced1 15oz can tomatoes, chopped1 15oz can kidney beans, drained1 tsp basil1/2 tsp paprika1/2 tsp black pepper1 tbsp soy sauce8 oz pasta shells or spirals
Directions
In a large pot, heat water or stock. Cook the onions for 3minutes, then add the pepper,carrots, and celery and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. Add the mushrooms, then cover the pan and cook for another 7 minutes, stirring occasionaly. Add tomatoes and beans, basil, paprika,pepper and soy sauce, cover and cook for a further 10-15 minutes.
Meanwhile cook pasta in pot of boining water untill tender,rinse and stir into vegetable' s and serve.

    This was ok. It seemed kinda bland. Not sure if maybe the flavors needed to merry longer? Next time I will probably add more spices and let it cook longer before adding the noodles. - 3/29/11

    The flavors of all the ingredients blended perfectly together. We really enjoyed this, and will be adding it to our regular meal rotation. We did add tuna for extra protein. This is probably my favorite recipe to come off SparkPeople so far. - 2/20/08
