Only the Best Meatloaf, Ever

Ingredients
500g good quality beef, lamb or pork mince500g good quality Italian sausages, squeezed from skins1 red onion, finely diced1 Granny Smith applice, grated1 handful herbs to taste1 cup grainy breadcrumbs1 egg1 tsp curry powderSalt & pepper to taste1/2 cup tomato sauce1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce1/2 cup brown sugar2 Tbl malt vinegar2 Tbl lemon juice1 Tbl butter1 tsp instant coffee granules
Directions
Mix the first nine ingredients together with met hands and push into a loaf tin (13cm x 24cm).

Put the last (liquid) ingredients over the meat loaf and cook for 1 1/2 hours at 170C.

Lift the meatloaf onto a serving platter and pour any residual sauce into a small jug. Service with mash, whole roasted vine tomatoes and winter greens.
