Ingredients
1/2 cup bbq sauce of your choice (I use Sweet Baby Rays Brown Sugar & Hickory)1/3 cup ginger ale1 tbsp brown sugar1 tbsp honey2.5 lbs beef brisket, trimmed of as much fat as possible and blotted drySalt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a small bowl, combine bbq sauce, ginger ale, brown sugar, and honey.

Lay meat in slow cooker and season with salt and pepper. If too big to lay flat, cut in half and stack.

Pour sauce over meat. Cook on LOW for 10-12 hours.

You may serve immediately, slicing the meat against the grain.

To store, place meat in foil and cool before refrigerating, refrigerate the sauce separately. When ready to serve, degrease the cold sauce and discard the hardened piece of fat and reheat the brisket in the sauce.

Makes 3 servings.
