Diet Custard Recipe

* Egg, fresh, 3 large * Almond Breeze Almond Milk, Unsweetened Vanilla, 16 oz * Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp * *Splenda, 12 tsp (or other sweetener like stevia/truvia) * Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp * Nutmeg, ground, 1 tbsp
Place milk in a small saucepan with the cinnamon and half the nutmeg and heat on medium. Cook until it begins to steam.
Use a whisk or mixer to beat eggs and yolks with splenda until pale gold and fairly thick. Preheat oven to 300 and set a kettle of water to boil.
Add milk mixture gradually to the egg mixture, stirring constantly. Pour into custard cups and top with remaining nutmeg. Place cups in baking pan and pour hot water in around the cups. Bake until a knife comes out from the center cleanly, about 30 mins.
