Biggest Losern Baked Zitti (adapted)

Ingredients
1 box Barilla Plus Penne1 container fat-free ricotta cheese2 large egg whites8 oz finely shredded reduced fat cheese1/4 tsp garlic powdersalt, to tasteblack pepper, to taste3 1/2 cups marinara
Directions
preheat over to 450 and mist ceramic/glass baking dish

cook the siti to al dente

in a large mixing bowl combine ricotta, egg whites, and all but 1 cup of shredded cheese until well combined. add garlic powder and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. stir in the cooked pasta.

spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on bottom of pan layer half of pastain an even layer. repeat. sprinkle remaining cheese on top

cover dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. remove foil and bake another 10 minutes..

let stand 5 minutes.

makes 8 generous servings
