Barbara's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
4 lbs. Ground Beef Round 2 Green Peppers chopped2 Onions chopped2-4 Garlic cloves minced4 Bay Leaf2-6 oz cans Tomato Paste3-8 oz cans Tomato Sauce1 Tomato Sauce can of hot water1/4 Cup SugarAll of the follwing to taste:Salt-I use about 1/2 tsp, then taste itPepper-I use about 1/4 tsp then taste itOregano-I use about 1/2 Tbsp then taste itItalian Seasoning-I use about 1/2 Tbsp then taste it
Directions
Saute onion, garlic and peppers in oil of choice then add meat and brown. Drain if needed then add rest of ingredients and cook at a light boil for 10 minutes. Lower heat and simmer 1 1/2 - 2 hours. You can add a jar of commercial sauce if needed for more people, but this makes about 18 - 1 Cup servings.

Makes about 5-6 quarts.
(I can usually get three meals out of it for my family of 6, I freeze the leftovers and it thaws beautifully!)
