Slow Cooked Beef Pepper Steak

2 lbs. Beef Round Steak2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil1/4 cup Soy Sauce1 cup chopped Onion1 Garlic Clove chopped1 tsp. Sugar1 tbsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper5 cups Stewed Tomatoes (3 cans)1 large Green Bell Pepper1 large Yellow Bell Pepper1 large Red Bell Pepper1 cup Hot Water1/2 cup cold water1tbsp Corn Starch
Cut Steak into 3x1 in strips. Add oil to a large frying pan and heat on high add steak and brown approx. 5 min add onion, garlic and pepper cook on medium an additional 5 minutes till onions are soft and begin to brown. Remove from heat and place in a slow cooker. Add the soy sauce, sugar, tomatoes (with all juice from can) and peppers to the steak mixture. Mix well. Add 1 cup of hot water mix again. Cook on low for 7 hours. Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste. Stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high until thickened.
Serve over rice or egg noodles
