Tomato Beef Soup with Macaroni

Ingredients
1lb Hamburg; 1 C. chopped onion; 1/2 C. chopped celery; 1 TB butter; # C. crushed tomatoes; 1 C. macaroni; 1 tsp salt; 1 tsp chili powder; 1 bay leaf; 3 1/2 C. water; 1 can beef broth
Directions
Brown Beef, onion and celery in butter. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to hard boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf.
Makes 8 1 -cup servings

    quick and easy. However I put the elbow macaroni in towards the end of the 30 minutes for like 7 minutes or it can overcook. - 10/9/10
