Crockpot Stew

Ingredients
1 tbsp oil2 lb stew beef- such a round steak cut into 1-2 inch cubes1/4 cup red onion finely chopped1 tbsp floursalt, pepper, bay leaves, steak spice to taste1/2 c red wine3 cup potatoes cubed1 cup carrots sliced into 2 inch chunks1 cup celery chopped in 2 inch chunks1- 341 ml can corn kernels drained1- 540 ml can whole tomatoes- do NOT drain1- 398 ml can sweet peas drained
Directions
Brown stew beef and fry onion together in a skillet with 1 tbsp of preheated oil. Once the meat is brown dust on the flour and spices. Remove from heat and add red wine. Transfer to a large crock pot. Add the remaining ingredients and let cook for 4 hours.
