Heart Healthy Chili

Ingredients
1 lrg. yellow onion, diced1 C. Green bell pepper, diced1 C. Red bell pepper, diced1 C. Yellow bell pepper, diced 1 C. Green chiles, diced2 C. Light Red Kidney Beans1 C. Dark Red Kidney Beans2 1/2 C. Tomato Sauce6-8 C. Water4 T. Chili Powder
Directions
Begin by browning ground beef. Add diced onions and green chiles to ground beef. Cook beef, onions, chiles until well browned and onions are transparent. add all bell pepper and cook til peppers are no longer crunchy. Add both types of beans and stir til all ingredients are well incorporated. Add tomato sauce and water. Bring chili to a boil and add chili powder to taste. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes until sauce is well reduced. Then serve warm.
