Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef1 c. chopped onions2 tsp. chopped garlic1/2 c. red wine1 can tomato sauce1 c. sliced pimento stuffed green olives2 tbsp capers, drained1 tbsp cumin1 tbsp cinnamon1 tsp salt (or to taste)Optional: 1 c. golden raisins (I'm not a big fan of cooked raisins, so I leave these out)
Directions
Saute onion and garlic in large sauce pan. Add ground beef and brown. Add red wine and spices. Add chopped olives, capers and tomato sauce. Stir well and let simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over rice.
