3 medium tomatoes (the redder and riper the better), cut into chunks1 small cucumber, peeled and cut into chunks3 slices stale white bread, remove crusts, torn up1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil2 Tbsp sherry1 tsp minced garlic1 tsp sugar1/8 tsp black pepper1 cup water, cold
Combine all ingredients together in a blender, and blend until as smooth as you like. Add extra water, if desired. Refrigerate finished soup until cold, about 1 hour. If you want to eat your soup immediately, you may add ice cubes to the blender.
