Ingredients
Directions
3 Apples (I use 2 granny smith & 1 of something else, but any variation will do.) Peeled and cored1/2 pineapple (Just an average sized fruit, peeled and cored)cinnamon to taste (I like lots)1 tsp honey (I use an organic caramel honey)water (just put in enough to give the apples something to steam about. If the apples brown a tad on the bottom of the pan, all the more flavor, but watch they don't get too brown. Add more or use less water as you like.
Peel & core apples. Cut into small pieces. Throw them in the pot.
Do the same with the pineapple.
Toss in some cinnamon. You could use nutmeg & raisins too, if you like.
Add water.
Cook on Med to med-high heat to get the whole thing bubbling. Bubble away (adjusting heat/water) for about 15-20 min, until the fruit is soft.
Use a hand blender to mash it all up.
Eat it. :) It makes about 4-6 servings, depending on how much you want to eat.
