300g skinless chicken breast, cut into large cubes125g non-fat yoghurt1 small onion, chopped4 cloves garlic, crushed1 tbspn indian curry powder1 tspn dried chilli flakes2 tspn garam masala1 tspn tumeric1/4 cup lemon juice
1. Mince onion and spices in food processor, or grind to a paste with a mortar and pestle
2. Gradually add yoghurt and lemon juice until well blended.
3. Marinade chicken pieces in this mixture overnight (or at least 1 hour)
4. Remove chicken pieces from marinade and place on silver foil or baking tray.
5. cook under grill or bake in hot oven, turning once, until cooked through (10 - 15 minutes)
Seve with lemon juice and/or a yoghurt dipping sauce, with salad and/or chapati
