Chop almonds and peeled apples. Boil everything together in a pot. When it comes to a boil, turn it down and let it simmer. Stir frequently.

You may have to let it sit, covered, with the burner OFF for a while. Everything will taste ready before the oats soften. If you use instant, this won't happen.

This was my first time making this and I liked how it came out. Just needed to know the stats on it.
