2 Lbs. Lean ground turkey1 C chopped onion1/2 C diced celery1 clove garlic, mince1/2 tsp. oregano1/2 tsp. thyme1/2 tsp. ground black pepper1 Cup Rice cooked2 egg whites1 1/4 cup tomato sauce sodium free,divided
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix the ground poultry, onion, celery and garlic. Mix all the spices together, then add them to the poultry and blend well. One at a time, add te rice, the eggwhites, and 1 cup tomato sauce to the ixture and blend thoroughly. Bake in a loaf pan. spread the remaining tomato sauce over the top of the loaf Bake uncovered for 90 min. let sit for 5 min. before serving. makes 6-8 servings
