Keema with Ground Beef and Peas, no potatoes

1 Tb vegetable oil1 onion, minced16 oz ground beefsalt and pepper1 cup sliced red bell pepper2 large cloves garlic, minced4 firm, ripe roma tomatoes, diced1 tsp ground ginger1 Tb patak's hot curry paste3 cups frozen peas
Makes 4 servings.
In a nonstick skillet over moderately high heat, warm the oil until hot. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. Add the beef, salt and pepper and cook, stirring, until no longer pink. Add the garlic, tomatoes, ginger, curry paste and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes. Add the peas and continue to cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes, or until flavors blend.
Transfer to a bowl and serve with warm Naan. (or you could roll in up like a burrito in warm tortillas.)
