My Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
2 cups All Purpose Flour1/2 tps. Baking Soda1/2 tps. Salt3/4 cup Unsalted Butter (melted)1 cup Dark Brown Sugar (packed)1/2 cup White Sugar1 T. Vanilla Extract1 Egg1 Egg Yolk2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 325*
Grease or line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Cream together the melted butter, dark brown sugar, and white sugar until well blended.
Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy.
Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
Stir in chocolate chips by hand with a wooden spoon.
Drop cookie dough 1/4 cup at a time onto the prepared cookie sheets. Cookies will spread, so place each about 3 inches apart.
Bake 15-17 minutes or until edges are lightly toasted.
Cool on baking sheets for at least five minutes before moving to wire racks to cool completely.

This makes about 16 cookies at 1/4 cup each.
