Ingredients
1/2 cup cooked brown rice1/4 cup skim or soy milk1 TBS raisins1 tsp shaved almonds or other nut (chopped walnuts used)1 TBS maple syrup or brown sugar (brown sugar used)1/2 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
Makes 1 serving

Combine all ingredients together, heat on low on stove, or heat on medium power in microwave till warm.

    This has been regular favorite since my children were little. I used to use brown sugar, but now that they are grown I find I don't need the sweetener or vanilla. The raisins and cinnamon are enough sweetening for me. - 9/21/10
