Cashew And Mushroom Flan

Ingredients
Canola Oil 1tsp Mushrooms 100 grams Cashews 60 grams (broken into chunks)Marjoram dried, 0.5 tsp Soy Sauce 1 tsp Paprika 1 tsp Dry Roasted Peanuts 30 gramsAlmonds 30 gramsWater 150 ml
Directions
Heat oil and fry mushrooms gently until soft.

Add cashews and toast for about 3mins until browned.
Put into flan dish, spread over the base.

Grind together peanuts and almonds, add in soy sauce and herbs, add enough water to make the consistency of double cream.

Pour mixture over mushrooms.

Spinkle paprika over the top.

Bake at 200'C for 30-35 minutes.

    I made my mixture too wet to begin with - because I added 150ml of water, but I corrected it by adding some more ground nuts. I was really surprised at how tasty it was without onion or garlic. It was quite crumbly when hot, but firmed up when cool. I have added it to my recipe collection. Thanks - 11/12/17
